About Make A Wish

Make-A-Wish Foundation of America is a non-profit organization whose goal is to grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. This year, NCYCAC has partnered with the Make-A-Wish Eastern NC chapter in the hopes of helping those who are close to home. Make-A-Wish believes that a wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a critical illness. Not only is it a way to make a child smile, but the hope and joy from a wish come true has far-reaching impacts. The wish experience helps children feel stronger and better prepared to face medical treatment and helps families stay positive. However, these wishes can only come true for children if they have the right resources, allowing Make-A-Wish to transform lives, one wish at a time.
